2020 and 2021 bought three lockdowns. We were confined to our homes unless we were key workers, shopping or on medical business. All down to a world wide pendant which with flu like symptoms caused many many deaths. Most vunerable were the elderly, and those with underlying health issues. This meant that I was virtually housebound as my diabetes was classed now as type 1. All essential shops and services were shut down, shopping was online or by phone and delivery.
Once we had spent a year decorating the house, exercising, baking, gardening, doing jigsaws, lego models and reading books January bought a new kind of lethargy and with the heavens on permanent downpour even those of us who could
go out for a daily walk or bike ride didn't fancy it.
Fed up with dressmaking, cross stitch and paper crafting I turned to crochet and using a few patterns from Attic 24 produced a winter wreath to brighten our front door.January's lockdown crochet project. Patterns and idea from Attic24, crochet and knit 101 flowers book and a free robin pattern found on line.
